The first ever student hackathon in Spain, organized by Kairos Society right before the Mobile World Congress.

KairosHacks 2015 is happening on the 28th of February to the 1st of March at Edifici MediaTIC in Barcelona. It's the first student hackathon ever organised in Spain and brings in students from over 15 countries. Teams will start working on their hacks on Saturday at 12:30 AM and end on Sunday at 12:30 AM. All submissions must be made through challengepost.

Eligibility

Only hackers who recieved a ticket and confirmed attendance are eligible to participate in KairosHacks. If you attended and hacked at KairosHacks, then you are eligible to make a submission. 

Requirements

Hack, submit to ChallengePost and show your work during demo time from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the venue. Only hacks who do demo are elligible for prizes.

  • Creativity
    Does the hack do something new? Is it mindblowing?
  • Polish
    Does everything appear to work? Is it well designed? Is the user experience good?
  • Technical Difficulty
    How technically interesting or difficult is the hack? Were there geniune technical problems to overcome?
  • Usefulness
    Is it something people would actually use? Does it fulfill a real need?
